COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M soccer fans can listen to every single match of the 2009 season free through Aggie All-Access on AggieAthletics.com.
Aggie soccer fans can hear all road games via AggieAthletics.com and starting with the exhibition match against UAB on Saturday, Aug. 15, all home A&M soccer games can be viewed with live video and audio.
"A&M soccer has been on the cutting edge of promoting our sport for nearly two decades," said head coach G Guerrieri. "We were among the first soccer programs to broadcast our games on the internet years ago and I'm very excited about the internet broadcasts of our matches this year."
David Ellis, a 10-year public address announcer, soccer veteran, and the voice of the Hardin-Simmons University soccer team during the 2008 season, will serve as the play-by-play announcer. Elvis Takow, A&M soccer's Volunteer Assistant Coach for the past four seasons, and Curt Magnuson, the Aggies' current Director of Soccer Operations will share duties as the color commentator.
"David, Elvis and Curt will be a great broadcast team," Guerrieri said. "David is a real pro behind the microphone and Elvis and Curt have a keen understanding of the type of attractive style we try to play in Aggieland. Elvis and Curt have also been on and around our team and camp coaching staffs for more than 10 years."
Texas A&M returns nine starters and welcomes eight newcomers to a team that made its 14th straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament last season and advanced to the quarterfinals of the championship.
The Aggies take to the pitch in an exhibition match Saturday, Aug. 15 and open the regular season against the 2007 national champion, USC, on Aug. 22.
