TULSA, Okla. - Four Texas A&M players will be among the 312 golfers who begin play in the U.S. Amateur Golf Championship on Monday at Cedar Ridge and Southern Hills Country Clubs.
Former A&M All-American Bronson Burgoon tees off at 1:55 p.m. (Cedar Ridge), followed by sophomore Jordan Russell at 2:15 (Cedar Ridge) and freshman Cameron Peck at 2:35 (Cedar Ridge). Junior Bryant Lach tees off at 7:30 a.m. at Southern Hills.
After the second round of stroke play on Tuesday, the top 64 players will advance to match play, which begins on Wednesday and concludes with the championship match on Sunday. All matches will be played at Southern Hills.
The Golf Channel will televise the first three days of match play (3-5 p.m. on Wednesday and noon-2 p.m. on Thursday and Friday). NBC Sports will televise Saturday's semifinals and Sunday's finals from 3-5 p.m. each day.
