COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Fans of Texas A&M volleyball and soccer will have yet another way to follow their teams both home and away, as selected matches this fall will be broadcast live in and around Bryan/College Station on KNDE-FM's HD3 channel, "Play by Replay", it was announced Wednesday.
Play by Replay is a free over-the-air broadcast located at 95.1-3 on the FM dial of an HD Radio. Those interested in listening to the broadcasts over-the-air must have an HD Radio, and units can be purchased for the car, the home or on-the-go for as little as $49 at numerous local and national electronics retail outlets.
HD Radio technology enables AM and FM radio stations to broadcast their programs digitally - a tremendous technological leap from the analog broadcasts of the past. For more information on the station or on HD Radio in general, fans can visit playbyreplay.com.
At least 11 soccer and 13 volleyball matches are scheduled to be broadcast on Play by Replay. The channel will feature a tripleheader of Aggie sports on Friday, beginning with the volleyball team's season opener against Iona (broadcast time 9:45 a.m.). The match against Virginia will air beginning at 5:45 p.m., immediately followed by soccer's battle against Purdue at approximately 7:45 p.m.
As always, fans can access free live video of all home volleyball and soccer matches, and free live audio of all road soccer and select volleyball contests, through aggieathletics.com. Matches aired on Play by Replay will also be available worldwide on your desktop and your mobile device through radioaggieland.com.
