NEW YORK - The Texas A&M women's golf team received 40 votes in Golf World's preseason coaches' poll.

Defending NCAA champion Arizona State is the preseason No. 1, followed by USC, UCLA, Oklahoma State and Denver.

Graduate student Julia Boland is the top-ranked amateur in Australia, while freshmen Sarah Beth Davis also could contribute early.
