SKILLMAN, N.J. - Two Texas A&M men's tennis players were listed among the nation's best as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its preseason Division I singles and doubles rankings on Friday.

Representing the Aggies on the national front is two-time junior All-American and top returning player Austin Krajicek (Brandon, Fla.) who is ranked No. 30 in singles. Last season, he posted a team-leading 18-6 dual match record playing primarily at the No. 2 line. The two-time All-Big 12 Conference selection is also ranked No. 19 nationally in doubles with junior teammate Alexey Grigorov (Moscow, Russia).

In addition, the ITA announced that Krajicek will be among the top collegiate players to compete in the main draw of singles at the 2009 D'Novo/ITA Men's All-American Championships hosted by the University of Tulsa on Oct. 3-11 in Tulsa, Okla. He and Grigorov will also take part in the main draw of doubles.

Junior newcomer Marcus Lunt (San Antonio, Texas), junior Kayvon Karimi (Dallas, Texas), sophomore Colin Hoover (Victoria, Texas), sophomore John Lewis (Birmingham, Ala.), a transfer from the University of Alabama, and freshman Alberto Bautista (McAllen, Texas).

The Aggies will open up the fall tournament season the weekend of Sept. 18-20 at the Midland Invitational in Midland, Texas, and the Islander Open in Corpus Christi, Texas.
