COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M softball team welcomes Blinn on Tuesday for a doubleheader that begins at 5 p.m. at the Aggie Softball Complex. Admission is free to the public.
Texas A&M was originally scheduled for one game against the Buccaneers Tuesday, but with the recent cancellations at the second day of the SKGSL Classic in Spring, Texas, the contest was turned into a twin bill.
A&M was led this past weekend by freshman Rhi Kliesing both saw time in the circle.
Aggie softball welcomes seven newcomers this season and returns 11 letterwinners from a 2009 squad that appeared in its eighth consecutive NCAA Tournament and finished the season with a 33-22 record.
Aggie junior transfer Missy Siegel was a member of the 2008 Blinn softball team that finished the season with a 56-11 record and advanced to the NJCAA Division I Fast Pitch National Championships.
The Aggies are allotted eight fall games, the remainder of which will fall next week.
