COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 14 Texas A&M soccer team goes on the road Friday to face Oklahoma State in its quest for the Aggies' 11th Big 12 Championship. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex. A&M returns home and steps out of conference play Sunday for a nationally televised match on the Fox Soccer Channel against Loyola University Chicago at 4 p.m.
A&M (7-4-1, 2-1-1 Big 12) is coming off of an undefeated weekend where it downed Kansas, 4-3, and played to a 4-4 draw against Missouri. Junior Jen Kmezich headed in the game-winner for a 2-1 victory.

SUNDAY'S TV INFO
Sunday's match will be aired live on the Fox Soccer Channel at 4 p.m. The matchup is one of eight NSCAA College Games of the Week. Talent for the game is Dean Linke and Kyndra de St. Aubin.

LAST TIME OUT
In a nationally televised ESPNU match against Missouri Sunday, both teams battled to a 4-4 tie. Shipley and junior Whitney Hooper came through late in the match to even the score and force two overtime periods. The Aggies outshot Missouri, 21-16, including an 11-6 edge in shots on goal. A&M shutdown the Tigers' attack in the first half and limited them to just two shots. On Friday, Mautz scored the game-winner in A&M's 4-3 win over No. 19 Kansas. Hamilton, Shipley and sophomore Bri Young also found the back of the net, while junior goalkeepers Kristin Arnold and Kelly Dyer combined for seven saves.
UP NEXT
The Aggies play their final two regular season games on the road next weekend. A&M travels to Iowa State Friday for a 7 p.m. kickoff before playing at Nebraska on Sunday at 1 p.m.
SHIPLEY'S WEEKLY HONORS
Shipley was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, was selected as a CS360 Primetime Player of the Week, was chosen to the TopDrawerSoccer Women's Team of the Week. She netted two goals and produced four assists to score eight points last weekend. Shipley leads the Big 12 in assists in conference matches with four. The Big 12 weekly honor is the third of Shipley's career.
HOOPER ON A SPEEDY PACE
The junior from Houston, Texas was also selected as a CS360 Primetime Player of the Week after scoring the final goal against Missouri to force a 4-4 draw and adding an assist against Kansas. Hooper leads the team with six goals and two assists, which already equals her six goals scored in 2008. She adds three game-winning goals, which are more game-winners than her first two years combined.
PETERSON A FINALIST FOR LOWE'S SENIOR CLASS AWARD
Peterson was selected as one of 10 finalists for the prestigious Lowe's Senior CLASS Award and will be placed on a ballot for a nationwide vote concluding November 13. Fans can vote for Peterson daily by going to http://www.seniorclassaward.com/vote/womens_soccer_2009/ or by texting W9 to 74567. These votes will be combined with votes from coaches and media to determine the recipient of the award.
SCOUTING OKLAHOMA STATE
The defending Big 12 regular season Champions has lost three in a row and is in ninth place in the Big 12. Their last three defeats came at the hands of Missouri, Iowa State and Nebraska. Don't count this team out as five of its six losses have been by just one goal. OSU is 1-2 against ranked opponents and 4-1 at home. In a very balanced attack, five players have scored four goals. Goalkeeper Andrianna Franch averages 0.76 goals against with a .791 save percentage. Oklahoma State posts a Big 12-best seven shutouts and holds its opponents to 0.85 goals per game, while averaging 2.15 goals per match.
VERSUS THE COWGIRLS
The Aggies are 13-0-2 against Oklahoma State all-time. Three of the last four games have been close with two one-goal matches and one tie. Senior Nicole Ketchum scored the game-winner in the 83rd minute against the Cowgirls for a come-from-behind win in 2007.
SCOUTING LOYOLA
The Ramblers (3-9-2) are members of the Horizon league and went 1-0-1 last weekend defeating Youngstown State, 1-0 and playing Cleveland State to a scoreless tie. Ana Claudia Michelini scored Loyola's lone goal, while goalkeeper Katie Groesch picked up her fourth and fifth shutouts of the season. The Ramblers scored just one goal and lost their first seven games of the year, but are now 3-2-2 in their last seven matches. The only ranked opponent the team has faced was then-No. 2 Notre Dame which resulted in a 2-0 loss. Ani Michl leads the team with two goals, while four other Ramblers have found the back of the net once. Loyola averages 9.9 shots per game and 0.43 goals per game. Groesch records a 1.39 goals against average and a .722 save percentage.
