COLLEGE STATION - Mark Turgeon's Virtual Guide to Texas A&M Basketball was officially launched Thursday on AggieAthletics.com.
The interactive online publication can also be accessed through the domain name www.CoachTurgeon.com
The 107-page full-color virtual guide features scores of videos, slideshows and internet links to provide fans all the tools they need to follow the Aggies. It also has a live news ticker with the latest basketball headlines from AggieAthletics.com.
Video features include Coach Turgeon describing his coaching philosophies and background, and a tour of the basketball facilities with junior guard B.J. Holmes. The review section includes a music video and highlights from last season.
Each coach and player has a dedicated page that includes a slideshow and links to biographical material and updated statistics. The slideshows feature music soundtracks chosen by that player or coach.
The Aggies open fall practice on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball. The practice is closed to the public because of space limitations.
