ABOUT THE WILSON/ITA SOUTH CENTRAL REGION CHAMPIONSHIPS
For the second consecutive year, Texas A&M will play host to the Wilson/ITA South Central Region Championships to be held on Oct. 24-27 at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station, Texas. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Championships date back to 1986 and have also been known as the Omni Hotels and Rolex Regional Championships. The regional championships feature the top men's and women's players from each of the ITA's regions.

The singles and doubles champions from the Wilson/ITA South Central Region Championships will advance to the 2009 ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships to be held on Nov. 5-8 at Yale University in New Haven, Conn. Overall, more than 7,000 players from nearly 600 schools participate annually in the ITA Regional and National Intercollegiate Championships.
