COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 20 Texas A&M soccer team secured its seventh shutout of the season on Friday and looks for another win against Texas Tech on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.

The Aggies (11-5-1, 5-2-1 Big 12) netted two first half goals against Colorado and moved into second place in the Big 12 with their 2-0 victory. Junior Alyssa Mautz provided the game-winning goal in the third minute and sophomore Katie Hamilton scored her sixth goal of the year at the 34-minute mark to give A&M its fifth win in the conference.

The Red Raiders (8-7-2, 3-3-2 Big 12) got out to a 2-0 lead against Texas Friday, but the Longhorns scored two late goals that forced a 2-2 draw after 110 minutes of play. Dawn Ward netted Tech's first score to mark her 13th goal of the season. She leads the team with 27 points. Taylor Lytle leads the conference with 11 assists.

Junior Rachel Shipley (5G, 7A) leads Texas A&M with 17 points, followed closely by junior Whitney Hooper who has a team-high seven goals and 16 points. Hamilton tallies six scores and one assist, while Bri Young adds four goals and four assist and is the fourth Aggie with double-digit points.

The Aggies are 14-1 all-time against Texas Tech and won the last nine consecutive meetings between the two teams. The last two victories have been shutouts, including a 1-0 blank in Lubbock, Texas, in 2008.
