COLLEGE STATION - After winning their final two fall tournaments, the Texas A&M men's golf team has climbed to No. 7 in the latest Golfweek rankings.
The defending national champion, A&M captured consecutive titles at the Lone Star Invitational and the Baylor Intercollegiate in October.
Three A&M players are ranked in the top 100 individuals, with five rated among the top 200. Senior Andrea Pavan is No. 44, freshman Cameron Peck is No. 68, Sophomore Geoff Shaw is N0. 96, junior John Hurley is No. 107 and junior Nacho Elvira is No. 182.
The Aggies are idle until opening their spring season Feb./ 1-2 at the Arizona Invitational.
