•    Junior quarterback Jerrod Johnson surpassed a trio of single season school records in tonight's game against Oklahoma, and now has set four season school records after 10 games in 2009. Against Oklahoma, Johnson surpassed A&M's season marks for completions (222), attempts (381) and passing touchdowns (22). The old marks were: 212 completions by Kevin Murray in 1987, 364 attempts by Stephen McGee in 2007, and 21 passing touchdowns by Johnson in 2008. He already owned the record for touchdown responsibility that he increased to 29). He increased his season passing yards to 2,722 and now trails Reggie McNeal's single season record of 2,791 in 2004 by 69 yards. He needs three more yards of total offense to become the third Aggie to reach the 3,000-yard level in single season yards (McNeal and McNeal are the others).
•    The 10 first quarter points by the Aggies were the first points allowed by Oklahoma in the first quarter in 2009. Oklahoma came into the game with a 79-0 advantage in the first quarter. OU led A&M, 14-10, after the first stanza.
•    Sophomore quarterback/wide receiver Ryan Tannehill saw the most extended action of his A&M career at quarterback. Tannehill has only attempted (and completed) two passes previously, but came in and completed 3-of-7 passes for 52 yards. He also contributed two catches for 20 yards and both receptions produced first downs.
•    The Aggies started four true freshmen -- wide receiver Brandal Jackson, running back Christine Michael and offensive guard Patrick Lewis on offense and cornerback Dustin Harris on defense. Another true freshman, Ryan Epperson, started at punter.
•    True freshman Ryan Epperson punted nine times and put four of his boots inside the OU 20-yard line. Only one of Epperson's punts was returned and it was for no gain.
•    Senior safety Jordan Pugh started his 34 career game, which is tops on the defense and on the team, while offensive lineman Michael Shumard started his 27 straight game, which leads the offense.
•     Game captains were junior Jerrod Johnson (offense), junior Michael Hodges (defense) and sophomore Lionel Smith (special teams).
•  Senior linebacker Derek Dumas (Crawford, Texas) was the 12th Man today against Oklahoma for the fourth time this season and the sixth time of his career.
