IRVING, Texas - Texas A&M junior John Hurley has been named Big 12 Golfer of the Month for October, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Hurley (O'Neill, Neb.) won the Lone Star Invitational with a 10-under-par score of 206 for his first career individual win. His second-round 64 tied a school record at 8-under. Hurley broke par in all three rounds of the tournament and helped the Aggies to the team title.
