NEWCASTLE, Australia - Texas A&M senior Julia Boland won her third straight Lake Macquarie Amateur Sunday at Belmont Golf Club.
"I am ecstatic," she said. "It is so great to come back and win it again."
Boland trailed reigning Australian Amateur champion Justine Lee by two strokes going into the final round, but closed with a three-under-par 70 to finish at five-under 217.
Boland, the No. 6-ranked women's amateur in the world by Golfweek, leads the Aggies in scoring with a 72.00 stroke average and posted two tournament victories in the fall.
