IRVING, Texas - The Saturday, April 17 baseball game between rivals Texas and Texas A&M at Olsen Field will be televised by FOX Sports Net and will start at 5:30 p.m., it was announced Monday as the Big 12 revealed its baseball telecast schedule.
The teams, who will have their earliest regular-season meeting since 1998, will open the split-site series on April 16 at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in Austin. The series then shifts to Olsen Field, with the nationally-televised game on the 17th, and action will conclude in College Station on April 18 at 1:05 p.m.
The broadcast is one of six conference-wide that are part of the league's television package throughout the 2010 season. The six contests will be available to FSN's regional affiliates, reaching more than 82 million cable and satellite TV homes nationwide.
Additional television appearances are possible through other Big 12 broadcast partners and institutional contacts and will be announced at a later time.
