COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, the Big 12 Conference and ESPN announced the 2010 football matchup between OSU and Texas A&M will be moved from Saturday, Oct. 2, to a Thursday, Sept. 30, prime time game on ESPN. Air time is set for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
"We look forward to the matchup with Oklahoma State and we appreciate ESPN and the Big 12 Conference moving the game to Thursday night for prime time," Texas A&M Head Football Coach Mike Sherman said. "The Big 12 South is one of the strongest divisions in all of college football and it is appropriate to highlight these matchups on a national scale."
The Oklahoma State game will be the second Thursday night contest for Texas A&M on ESPN in 2010. The Thanksgiving game against Texas will air on ESPN beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, in Austin.
