COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M head coach Gary Blair and the 15th-ranked Texas A&M women's basketball team encourages Aggie fans to pack Reed Arena this weekend with several ticket promotions available.
A&M will once again host Bryan-College Station Elementary School Day against No. 12 Texas on Saturday, Feb. 20 for the State Farm Lone Star Showdown between the two in-state rivals. The game will be televised live nationally on Fox Sports Net at noon (CT).
Parents can receive two free tickets to the game by presenting the promotional flyer to the game at the ticket window, requesting tickets online at: http://tickets.12thmanfoundation.com or by calling the 12th Man Foundation Ticket Office at: 1-888-99-AGGIE.
To order online, parents must enter their child's school name when prompted for a promotion code. For example, Forest Ridge = forestridge or Kemp = kemp. Extra tickets can be purchased for $3.
The Aggies will then turn around and host No. 18 Baylor on Monday, Feb. 22 for a Big Monday Top 25 matchup to be televised live nationally on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. (CT). A&M will host Bryan-College Station Middle/Intermediate School Night against the Lady Bears.
Students can receive two free tickets to the game by presenting their school ID or wearing a school shirt to the event to redeem their tickets. To order tickets in advance, go to: http://tickets.12thmanfoundation.com, click Middle/Intermediate School Night and enter your school's name.
The Aggie women will also host Texas A&M Faculty/Staff Night for the Big Monday game versus Baylor. Tickets for Texas A&M faculty and staff are priced at $3 and available in all price levels. Tickets can be ordered online at: http://tickets.12thmanfoundation.com (look for Faculty/Staff link). Faculty and staff can also present their TAMU ID prior to the game or purchase in advance at the Ticket Center's Kyle Field or Reed Arena locations.
Additional Ticket Promotions...Gear Up Weekend officially starts this Friday. Fans can gain admission for just $3 per Aggie athletic event when they buy tickets to two-or-more of the 12 events scheduled over the weekend. This includes: Texas A&M women's basketball vs. Texas and Baylor as well as men's tennis, softball and baseball.
