Texas A&M will take one of the largest teams of swimmers to the 2010 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships according to the official psych sheets released by the NCAA.

   The Aggies have 14 swimmers and all five relays qualified for the Championships, which will be contested at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., March 18-20. Texas A&M will be represented by seniors Alia Atkinson, Ella Doerge, Melissa Hain, Kristen Heiss, Emily Neal, Julia Wilkinson and Sarah Woods; juniors Melanie Dodds, Lindsey King and Maria Sommer; sophomore Rita Medrano; and freshmen Kendra Chernoff, Maureen McLaine and Tess Simpson.

   A&M's NCAA team is the fourth-largest group of swimmers in the field behind Arizona (18), Georgia (17) and Virginia (16). Other teams with double-digit swimming qualifiers include California, Florida, Minnesota, Stanford and USC with 12, Tennessee and Texas with 11 and Indiana with 10.

   A&M will be hoping to add as many as five more competitors to its NCAA roster at the NCAA Zone D Diving Regional, which will be contested at Texas A&M's Student Recreation Natatorium March 12-14. Vying for NCAA berths at Zones will be seniors Alia Atkinson, SR (3L), Pembroke Pines, Fla.
