The No. 20 Texas A&M women's golf team will be seeking its second straight victory when the Aggies take on a loaded field at the 37th annual Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational Friday through Sunday at the University of Texas Golf Club. Tee times will begin at 8:15 a.m. on Friday and Saturday with split-tee starts, and 8:45 on Sunday (shotgun).

In addition to the Aggies and host Longhorns (No. 34), the field at the Betsy Rawls includes UCLA (2), Arizona (8), Stanford (12), New Mexico (22), Vanderbilt (23), TCU (25), UC Davis (26), Washington (33), Oregon (37), Northwestern (39), Notre Dame (40), Tulsa (41), Chattanooga (45) and Oklahoma (67) (Rankings based on latest Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index/March 22).

The Aggies are coming off a victory at the University of Central Florida Challenge earlier this month when they rallied from seven strokes down in the final round for the team win at the RedTail Golf Club in Sorrento, Fla. Senior Julia Boland paced the Aggies in the win with a six-under par individual victory, which included a school record five-under 65 in the opening round.

"The girls are really excited to get back into competition this weekend," Aggie head women's golf coach Trelle McCombs said. "They've worked really hard these past couple of weeks on some of the things we were weak on in the last event. They all look very sharp right now. It's now just a matter of executing what we've practiced."

Texas A&M will take a lineup of senior Julia Boland, junior Ashley Freeman and freshman Sarah Beth Davis. Freshman Aly Smith will be playing as an individual.
