COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 18 Texas A&M softball team travels to No. 24 Baylor on Wednesday for its first Big 12 road game of the season. First pitch at Getterman Stadium is at 6:30 p.m.

A&M (29-7, 2-0 Big 12) is coming off of its first Big 12 sweep against Kansas last weekend. Walk-off grand slams by freshman Rhi Kliesing ended both games short of seven innings, while freshman Melissa Dumezich picked up her first Big 12 Pitcher of the Week award after going 2-0 in the circle with a 0.00 ERA.

Texas A&M has won 13 of its last 14 contests and are led offensively by May. The Aggie catcher leads the conference in hits (45), home runs (15), walks (31), RBIs (49), total bases (105), on base percentage (.569) and slugging percentage (1.010). Kliesing (.382) and senior Alex Reynolds (.370) follow with 33 and 26 RBIs, respectively. Dumezich is second in the league with a 1.11 ERA. She is 8-0 with three shutouts.

The Lady Bears (19-10, 0-2 Big 12) dropped their Big 12 series opener at Oklahoma State last weekend with a pair of losses (7-4, 6-3) to the No. 15 Cowgirls. They are 2-3 in their last five games and suffered the loss of two key starters this season, sophomore pitcher Whitney Canion and junior infielder Meagan Weldon.

Leading BU on offense is senior Nicole Wesley with a conference-best .435 batting average. Twin sister Tiffany Wesley is hitting .372 and posts a team-high 35 hits and 23 runs. Both players are a threat to steal with 27-of-27 combined stolen bases. Courtney Repka has carried the majority of the load in the circle with a 12-6 record, 2.23 ERA and 73 K's in 122.1 innings pitched.

Texas A&M leads the all-time series 53-19-1 and has won four of the last five games between the two teams. All three meetings last year were one-run contests and BU came out ahead last, winning 5-4 in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals.
