COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 18 Texas A&M softball team announced a change to its two-game series at Nebraska this weekend. Friday's game is postponed and the two teams will now play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 2 p.m.
The games were changed to the current schedule because of the threat of inclement weather in Lincoln, Neb., on Friday. The forecast calls for showers and thunderstorms and an 80 percent chance of rain throughout the day.
The Aggies look to rebound at Nebraska after a 3-2, 10-inning loss at No. 24 Baylor on Wednesday. A&M (29-8) sits in third place in the Big 12 with a 2-1 record, while the Huskers (20-16, 0-2 Big 12) are in ninth place and search for their first conference win this weekend.
