"With the help of Bryan Broadcasting and Fuddruckers, the first 250 students will receive free food coupons to claim burgers cooked by Fuddruckers at a grill located near Netum Steed (just off of the track surrounding Kyle Field)," Sherman stated. "Throughout the post-practice activities, we will conduct drawings for prizes such as bench passes for a couple of home games, a white throwback helmet, a 12th Man jersey with your name on it, and possibly other awards."
During the regular football practice on Kyle Field from 4 p.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m., the students are encouraged to stand on the track surrounding the field but to need to be aware of footballs and players coming in their direction. If they prefer, they can sit in the stands of the first deck. After practice, the team will split into their position groups to interact and run drills with the students for approximately 45 minutes. During this time Coach Sherman will draw award winners. Due to NCAA rules and regulations, only current Texas A&M students are permitted to go through drills with the players.
The gates at the four corners of the stadium will be open at 3:30 p.m. The first 250 students showing their Texas A&M student ID will be presented a food coupon along with another ticket stub for the drawings that will be held after practice. Other students and the general public can purchase a discounted Fuddrucker's hamburger for $3 to go along with a bag of chips. Water will be sold for $1 and sodas are $2. Food will be served beginning at 3:30 p.m. and continuing while supplies last, or until 6 p.m. and it will be cash only.
Only Texas A&M students with their ID will receive a ticket stub for the drawings held after practice and winners must be present to win.
