COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M returns to the diamond this weekend when the Aggies (20-11-1, 6-5-1) face third-ranked Texas (27-7, 10-2) in the State Farm Lone Star Showdown ... the series opens on Friday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in Austin, with first pitch set for 6:05 p.m. ... it then shifts to Olsen Field for the final two games ... Saturday's game will start at 5:35 p.m. and will be televised nationally by FSN ... Sunday's finale will begin at 1:05 p.m. and will air on FOX College Sports ... A&M has lost three straight and sits in third place in the Big 12 at 6-5-1 ... the Longhorns, meanwhile, have won nine in a row and are in first place in the league at 10-2.
