Fresh off its rousing comeback victory at the Big 12 Championships last weekend, the Texas A&M women's golf team has been invited to the NCAA West Regional where it will compete for a berth in 2010 NCAA Women's Golf Championships, the NCAA announced on Monday.
Regional play will be contested May 6-8 at three sites – the West Regional at Stanford, the Central Regional at Columbus, Ind., and the East Region at Greenville, N.C. The top eight teams and two individuals advance to the NCAA Championships, which will be held May 18-21 at the Country Club of Landfall and hosted by UNC-Wilmington.
