"It was a very good experience and just an honor to be selected to play," Oyedeji said. "The game was a lot of fun and It was nice that there was an all-star game for guys who are willing to put in the time on the court, and in the classroom. There were some good players and the guys were great to be around. Not only did we hit the courts, but we had sessions on things off of the basketball court such as leadership and other things."
Oyedeji averaged just under 16 points per game to go along with eight rebounds per game and was a tremendous shot blocker in helping lead his team to the Class 5A Regional finals. Oyedeji was the MVP of District 20-5A in the Houston area and was named to the All-Greater Houston team and was a member of the TABC All-State Class 5A squad.
