Texas A&M senior Andrea Pavan placed 22nd overall and was the low amateur at the BMW Italian Open on the European Tour on Sunday at the Royal Park Golf and Country Club in Turin, Italy.
           Pavan, from Rome, Italy, fired the low individual round of the day with a seven-under par 65 on Sunday, which shot him 36 spots up the leaderboard of home country's national championship. For the tournament, Pavan turned in rounds of 76, 68, 73 and 65, and was six-under par. Sweden's Fredrik Andersson Hed won the Italian Open at 16-under par.
           Pavan and the rest of the Aggies return to action May 20-22 at the NCAA South Central Regional, which will be contested at the Traditions Club Golf Club in Bryan, Texas.
