The No. 24 Texas A&M women's golf team's second round at 2010 NCAA Championships was halted due to darkness but not before the Aggies improved to a tie for 13th on Wednesday at the Country Club of Landfall.

The Aggies were nine-over for the day when play was stopped. A&M will return to its second round action at 6:30 a.m. (central) on Thursday, and the third round will start an hour after the conclusion of the second round.

"I would describe our back nine as steady," Aggie golf coach Trelle McCombs said. "We need a couple of birdies coming in on Thursday morning. If we come out strong, we can make a little move."

For the tournament, the Aggies are 18-over par and tied with No. 18 TCU. Senior Ashley Freeman was two-over through 16 holes and is tied for 70th at seven-over. Senior Julia Boland was three-over through 13 holes and junior Sarah Zwartynski was three-over through 15 holes. Both Aggies are tied for 29th at three-over after two days of action.
