COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M senior Von Miller, who led the country with 17 quarterback sacks last season, has been named to the 2010 Playboy Preseason All-America football team.

Miller, from DeSoto High School, plays a hybrid position Aggie defensive coordinator Tim DeRuyter calls the "joker" position. It is a combination defensive end/outside linebacker and Miller can use his speed to rush the quarterback off of the edge, or drop back into coverage.

Last season, Miller was named to several All-America teams as well as earning first-team All-Big 12 honors.

Miller becomes the first Aggie to be named to the select team since Cody Wallace was named to the 2007 Playboy Preseason All-America squad.

This marks the 54th year for the magazine to compile an All-America team. The very first group in 1957 included Aggie back John David Crow who would go on to win the 1957 Heisman Trophy for Texas A&M and his head coach, Paul "Bear" Bryant.
