Texas A&M senior-to-be Sarah Zwartynski will battle for Women's Texas State Amateur Championship in a match play final on Friday at the University of Texas Golf Club.

Zwartynski, from Allen, Texas, logged a 3-and-2 victory over Carolyn Creekmore on Thursday, and will be pitted against Erica Pressley in the final. Zwartynski will tee off on Friday at 9:28 a.m. against Pressley, who posted a 3-and-2 win over Wallis Spears. In the previous rounds, Zwartynski defeated Karisma Smith 2-up in the round of 32, Aggie teammate Aly Smith 3-and-1 in the round of 16 and Hannah Arnold 5-and-4 in the quarterfinals.

Zwartynski is no stranger to the UT Golf Club, which was the site of her lone collegiate victory at the 2010 Betsy Rawls Longhorn Classic in March. Zwartynski fired rounds of 70-72-71 and finished three-under in her victory.
