Texas A&M Swimming grabbed a pair of medals on the final day of the Canadian Summer National Championships on Saturday at the Saanich Commonwealth Place in Victoria, British Columbia.

2010 senior Julia Wilkinson fell just shy of tallying her third national crown of the Championships with a runner-up finish in the women's 200-meter IM. Wilkinson, from Stratford, Ontario, finished in 2:13.80, which was just .77 of a second behind the winning mark of 2:13.03.

Also getting to the medal stand was incoming freshman Kyle Troskot of Lethbridge, Alberta, who was third in the men's 50 behind Canadian Olympian Brent Hayden and Luke Peddie. Troskot, who is expected to play a big role in the Aggies' plans in 2010-11, grabbed third in 23.27.

In other action, senior-to-be Melanie Dodds was edged out from the bronze medal in the 200 IM. Dodds finished fifth in the race, but was just .31 out of third place. Wilkinson finished out a strong national meet with a seventh place finish in the 50 in 26.14.
