OLYMPIA, Wash. - Texas A&M sophomore All-American Cameron Peck earned a spot in the 2010 U.S. Amateur for the third straight season after placing second in qualifier action Wednesday at Indian Summer Country Club.
Peck, who hails from Olympia, fired a 69-70=139 to finish five under for the tournament, two strokes back of the champion. He will join current Aggie teammate Andrea Pavan in the prestigious event, scheduled to be played Aug. 23-29 at Chambers Bay Golf Course outside Tacoma--just minutes from Peck's home.
