COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M baseball team will hold walk-on try outs this September for students looking to compete for a spot on the Aggie roster. Any students with plans to try out must attend a mandatory 6 p.m. meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Olsen Field before the try outs begin on Wednesday, Sept. 15.
In order to participate, students need to have proof of a sports physical that has been completed in the past six months as well as results from a sickle cell blood test. Both tests can be performed at the University Health Center or by a family doctor. Students are required to have their doctor fill out the attached form and bring it, along with blood test results, to the walk-on try out meeting on Sept. 7.
