COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M senior Alyssa Mautz was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week the conference office announced on Tuesday.

The midfielder, who was selected to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week on Monday, also earned accolades Tuesday as a CollegeSoccer360.com Primetime Performer of the Week.

Mautz scored four goals and was key in two Aggie victories over ranked opponents last weekend as Texas A&M defeated No. 16 Virginia Tech, 5-3, on Friday and No. 21 Washington State, 1-0, on Sunday.

The O'Fallon, Mo., native recorded her second hat trick, including the game-winner against Virginia Tech, and netted the lone goal against Washington State. She totaled eight points on the weekend and leads the conference with 10 points on the season.

This marks the second career Big 12 honor and second national award for Mautz.

The A&M soccer team moved up two spots in the rankings this week to No. 7 in the Soccer Times top 25 poll. North Carolina retained the top spot for the third straight week, followed by Stanford, Portland, Notre Dame, Florida State and Boston College.

Mautz and the Aggies return to the Aggie Soccer Stadium on Friday at 7 p.m. against Davidson.
