IRVING, Texas - The Big 12 Conference announced that 11 women's basketball matchups will be aired on the ESPN family of networks during the 2010-11 season, three of which involve Texas A&M.
After making a school-record fifth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament last season, the Aggies were rewarded for the third year in-a-row with an ESPN2 Big Monday game on Feb. 14, where A&M will face Baylor before a national television audience at 8 p.m.
The Aggies first appear on ESPN2 on Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. against Duke in the Jimmy V Women's Basketball Classic. Additionally, ESPNU will broadcast an 11 a.m. matchup on Dec. 19 featuring A&M and Rutgers at the fifth annual Maggie Dixon Classic at Madison Square Garden.
Including Texas A&M's five dates on FSN, the Aggies will appear on television a total of eight times during the 2010-11 regular season.
The Big 12 television package will include a total of 38 appearances on national or regional television with 11 on ESPN networks and 27 on FSN.
