COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Fresh off of a 5-0 victory against Cal State Northridge and having won seven of its last eight matches, the Texas A&M soccer team climbed to No. 5 in the Soccer America Women's Top 25 poll.

A&M has been a constant in the top 10 all season, starting the year ranked eighth and steadily moving up each week.

The No. 5 ranking is highest the Aggies have been listed in the polls since Nov. 6, 2007, when they were ranked second by the NSCAA.

The Aggies entered the national polls during the 1995 season and have appeared in the top 25 every week since for the past 16 seasons.

Texas A&M begins Big 12 Conference play against Colorado Friday at the Aggie Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
