The Texas A&M women's golf team remained in 12th place after the second round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge at the Fazio Course at Red Sky Golf Club on Monday.
The Aggies held steady with a second-round total of 314, and trail UC Davis, Arizona, Virginia, Tulane, Denver, UNLV, Tennessee, Minnesota, Pepperdine, San Jose State and Chattanooga. Rounding out the standings are Harvard, Missouri State, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, Sacramento State and Central Arkansas.
A&M freshman Sarah Beth Davis remained the low Aggie on the leaderboard at 22nd place at 6-over (72-78=150) after posting a 6-over 78. Freshman Chelsea Mocio is tied for 60th at 15-over (79-80=159) after carding a 6-over 80. Sophomore Aly Smith is tied for 76th at 19-over (79-84=163) and senior Sarah Zwartynski is tied for 81st at 21-over (85-80=165).
The Aggies will begin teeing off at 12:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday from the first teebox and will be paired with Central Arkansas and Tulane.
