COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 10 Texas A&M soccer team returns to the Aggie Soccer Stadium this weekend for its first two back-to-back home conference matches this season.
The Aggies (9-3, 2-1 Big 12) host Baylor on Friday at 7:30 p.m., followed by Texas Tech on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
In only its second Big 12 game in front of the 12th Man this season, A&M looks for its third straight win and third in league play on Friday.
The Bears (9-3-1, 2-2 Big 12) are searching for much of the same after defeating Nebraska and No. 22 Colorado for one-goal victories.
The Red Raiders (9-4, 2-2 Big 12) split last weekend at home in close matches with the Buffaloes (W, 1-0) and the Huskers (L, 4-5 OT) and face Texas on Friday before traveling to College Station on Sunday.

TICKET AND PARKING INFORMATION
Tickets for A&M's matches are $7 for adult general admission, $9 for reserved seats and $4 for youth general admission. Children under 2 are permitted free of charge in general admission seating. Tickets are also available in person beginning one hour before the match at the Aggie Soccer Stadium.
Parking is free and is available in the Reed Arena and Olsen parking lots. For added convenience, there are now two entrances on the north end of the stadium.

PROMOTIONS
Friday - Aggies Can: Free admission with a canned food donation or non-perishable food item. Just drop off your item(s) at any entrance to the Aggie Soccer Stadium. All donations benefit the Brazos Food Bank.
Sunday - This Sunday and every Sunday at the Aggie Soccer Stadium, kids get in FREE! Up to four kids are admitted FREE with one paying adult.
Sunday - Autograph Session: Stick around after the game for an autograph session with the Aggies.
ALL ABOUT A&M
The Aggies are ranked 10th in the nation and have won three of their last four games, including a pair of Big 12 road matches. Texas A&M leads the conference in three offensive categories and is second best in four others. Senior Alyssa Mautz leads the team with nine goals, including four game-winners and 59 shots. Junior Bri Young (11 pts) adds a team-best five assists. Junior Merritt Mathias (6 G, 15 pts), senior Rachel Shipley (12 pts) and senior Whitney Hooper (10 pts) and are also strong offensive threats. Senior goalkeeper Kristin Arnold suffered a separated shoulder at Portland and senior Kelly Dyer stepped in nicely recording a 0.83 goals against average and an .867 save percentage this season.
SCOUTING BAYLOR
Baylor leads the Big 12 in four offensive categories while also being the top team with nine shutouts. Goalkeeper Courtney Seelhorst leads the charge with a 0.73 goals against average and a .820 save percentage. The team is allowing just 0.69 goals per game and holds its opponents to 9.8 shots per game. Lisa Sliwinski has a team-best seven goals and five assists for 19 points. She is followed by Dana Larsen with six goals and 14 points. Hanna Gilmore (13 pts) is the only other BU player with double-digit points, but the Bears have two or more goals from eight different players. Baylor is 3-2 in its last five games.
THE SERIES
Texas A&M posts a 12-4-1 all-time record against the Bears after defeating them twice last season. Hooper netted the first game-winner in a 1-0 win, while Shipley and Young scored in a 2-0 victory in the Big 12 Championship.
SCOUTING TEXAS TECH
The Red Raiders split their conference matches last weekend and are 3-2 in their last five games. Jessica Fuston leads the offense with six goals and 14 points. Taylor Lytle and Dawn Ward each add four goals and two assists and Jessica Disabella records a team-high four assists. Colleen Pitts has seen the most time between the posts with a 1.05 goals against average with a .820 save percentage. Tech sits just behind Baylor in the conference with eight shutouts. The team limits their opponents to 0.85 goals per game.
THE SERIES
The Aggies are 14-1-1 all-time against Texas Tech and are unbeaten in the last 10 meetings between the two teams. Last season ended in a 0-0 double overtime draw in College Station. A&M, however, held every statistical advantage, 35-14 in shots, 10-5 in shots on goal and 16-5 in corners. The Red Raiders have been held scoreless in the last three games.

At No. 10 the Aggies have been a constant in the top 10 all season, starting the year ranked eighth and moving up as high as fifth. The Aggies entered the national polls during the 1995 season and have appeared in the top 25 every week since for the past 16 seasons!
