The Texas A&M women's golf team received another strong outing from its freshman class at the Tar Heel Invitational – this time with Katerina Ruzickova firing a 2-under par 70 in the final round on Sunday at the UNC Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The Aggies combined for a final round 297 and finished in a tie for 13th at 16-over at the Tar Heel Invitational. A&M finished behind Alabama (-28), LSU (-16), Duke (-13), Virginia (-2), North Carolina (+2), Michigan State (+6), Tulane (+8), Vanderbilt (+10), Georgia (+10), Wake Forest (+12), South Carolina (+14) and Louisville (+14), and tied with Auburn (+16). Rounding out the team standings were Florida (=17), Florida State (+26), Denver (+34) and North Carolina State (+44).

Ruzickova and sophomore Sarah Beth Davis tied for low A&M individual at 22nd place at 2-over. Ruzickova's 2-under par round helped her jump 20 spots on the leaderboard (74-74-70=218), while Davis continued her tournament-long consistent play with a 74 on Sunday after posting even par rounds on Friday and Saturday (72-72-74=218).

Senior Sarah Zwartynski placed 51st at 7-over with rounds of 69-74-80=223. Freshman Natalie Reeves finished in a tie for 73rd at 12-over (82-71-75=228) after closing with a 3-over 75. Freshman Chelsea Mocio placed 89th at 21-over with rounds of 77-82-78=237.
