SACRAMENTO, CA - Two former Texas A&M men's tennis players continue to shine on the pro circuit as Lester Cook and Brett Joelson both reached the semifinals of the doubles draw in the Natamos Men's Pro Tennis Tournament held in Sacramento, California.
Cook was a three-time All-American and lettered for the Aggie men's tennis team in 2002-04. Joelson lettered in 2004-07 and he teamed with Ante Matijevic in 2005 to earn All-Big 12 honors in doubles play.

In the ATP Challenger Tour, Cook teamed with Amer Delic to defeat Andrew Anderson and Chris Eaton in the first round, 4-6, 6-3, 12-10. In the second match, the duo swept Ryler Deheart and Pierre-Ludovic Duclos, 6-3, 6-3. Cook and Delic lost in the semifinals to Nicholas Monroe and Donald Young, 6-4, 2-6, 10-6.
Joelson teamed with Robert Kendrick to defeat Alex Kuznetsov and Travis Rettenmaier in the opening round, 6-3, 6-4. The team then bounced Alex Bogomolov, Jr. and Jesse Witten, 6-1, 6-1 to reach the semifinals. In the semifinal match, Rik De Voest and Izak Van Der Merwe outlasted Joelson and Kendrick, 7-6 (5), 6-3.
