COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M junior Bri Young was selected as a CollegeSoccer360.com Primetime Performer of the Week on Wednesday.
From Castle Pines North, Colo., Young recorded two game-winning goals and two assists as a defender to lead the Aggies to a pair of shutout victories against Baylor and Texas Tech last weekend.
Against the Bears, Young put up career-high numbers with eight shots and five shots on goal and versus Texas Tech, she matched her career-best with five shots on frame and a match-high six shots.
Young, who was named Preseason All-Big 12 for the second straight year, leads the conference with the most game-winners in Big 12 play.
This is the first CS360 Performer of the Week honor for Young and the second for the Aggies this season as senior Alyssa Mautz garnered the accolade on Aug. 31.
Texas A&M is on the road this weekend with a 6:30 p.m. match at Iowa State and a 4 p.m. match at Missouri that is televised nationally on ESPNU.
