COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M baseball team completed its Fall World Series on Thursday at Olsen Field with the final contest of the three-game set. The game was called in the seventh inning with the Plowboys leading the Farmers 2-0 after a precautionary Code Maroon alert was issued for the Texas A&M campus.

Despite trailing in Thursday's contest, the Farmers clinched the World Series and the Omaha Cup with wins in each of the first two games of the series on Tuesday and Wednesday.

During Thursday's contest, the Plowboys capitalized on mistakes by the Farmers to plate runs in the bottom of the first inning on a wild pitch and in the home half of the fifth on an error. Junior Matt Juengel collected a pair of hits in three plate appearances for the Farmers, who trailed in the game despite holding a 6-3 advantage in hits.

The Aggies will get their 2011 season underway Feb. 18-20 when they host LeMoyne University in a three-game series in front of their home fans at Olsen Field.
