COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M's 33-19 win over the then-No. 9 Oklahoma last Saturday has put the Aggies in both major top 25 polls, as well as the Bowl Championship Series standings.

The 6-3 Aggies, who are also bowl-eligible for second straight year, debuted in the Associated Press media poll at No. 23 and the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll at No. 25. It was the Aggies' first appearance in the polls since 2007 when the Aggies carried a No. 20 AP rank into the Orange Bowl for a Sept. 20 matchup with the Miami Hurricanes.

The Aggies also climbed into the BCS standings at No. 25 for the first time since being ranked No. 21 in the final standings of 2006.

A pair of players were recognized as Big 12 Players of the Weeks after posting strong performances against the Sooners.
Senior Michael Hodges earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors after making a career-high 19 tackles and playing a huge role in the three red zone stops of the Sooners. Hodges' 19 stops were the most by an Aggie since current linebackers coach Dat Nguyen had 20 tackles in the 1998 Cotton Bowl.

Junior Coryell Judie received the Special Teams POW award after scoring on a school record 100-yard kickoff return against the Sooners on the opening kickoff in the second half. Judie, who was returning kicks for the first time as an Aggie, finished with 129 yards on three returns. Judie, who redshirted last season after transferring from Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College, also contributed six tackles and an interception from his cornerback position.

In the weekly College Football Performance Awards, Judie was named one of seven National KOR Performers of the Week, and Hodges and senior JOKER Von Miller were named honorable mention National POWs at linebacker.
