The Texas A&M men's swimming and diving team will start a three-competition swing in Florida with a Thursday against Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, Fla.
After the bout with Florida Atlantic, the Aggies will travel to Fort Pierce, Fla. on Saturday for a dual meet against Indian River State College and Nova Southeastern.
The Aggies are coming off of a second place finish in the Southwest Collegiate Plunge, where the team finished just 71.5 points behind rival Texas.
Junior A&M diver Grant Nel took a pair of first place finishes at the Plunge, ousting 2009-2010 All-American Texas diver Drew Livingston on both the 1-meter springboard and the 3-meter springboard events. Sophomore swimmer Omar Enriquez also notched a victory at the plunge, with a 4:26.93 in the 500-yard freestyle.
The Aggie divers will stay on the road after the trip through Florida, as the team will travel to Atlanta, GA. on Nov. 19 to compete in the Georgia Tech Invitational diving meet. The swimmers will compete in Houston on Nov. 20 in the UH Cougar Classic.
