COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The second-ranked Texas A&M equestrian team takes its final road trip of the fall season on Friday when the Aggies head north to battle Baylor at the Willis Family Equestrian Center in Waco. Show time is set for 1 p.m.

A&M, unbeaten on the year at 4-0, recently wrapped up a three-show homestand which saw the Aggies sweep SMU, No. 4 Oklahoma State and No. 3 Auburn. The team has been strong in all phases on the young season, with the hunter seat and western riders combining to win seven of their eight team competitions.

The Bears, meanwhile, are 4-3 and ranked eighth nationally in the latest coaches' poll. Baylor has lost three of its last four shows, including an 11-8 setback to top-ranked Georgia last week in Waco.

The Aggies swept the season series with Baylor last year, including a 9-8 victory in Waco in the team's most recent full-squad meeting in February. The A&M western riders then clipped their Bear counterparts, 5-3, in the national quarterfinals two months later en route to the team's second consecutive national championship.

Following Friday's show, Texas A&M will close the fall portion of its schedule on Saturday, Nov. 20 against Kansas State. Show time at the Brazos County Expo Complex in Bryan is set for 10 a.m.
