The No. 8 Texas A&M women's swimming and diving team will face a stacked field of teams at the Georgia Tech Invitational Friday through Sunday at the GT Aquatic Center.
In addition to the defending Big 12 Champion Aggies and host Georgia Tech, the field includes No. 4 Florida, No. 10 Auburn, Miami (Fla.), Florida State, Clemson, North Carolina State, Gardner-Webb, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Air Force and Emory.
The Aggies are coming off a narrow 163-137 loss to archrival Texas in their most recent action. The Aggies were paced by the diving pair of Jaele Patrick and Janie Potvin, who finished 1-2 in both the 1-meter and 3-meter springboards. Also tallying a pair of victories was junior Rita Medrano, who swept the 100- and 200-yard butterflies. Senior Lindsey King was also victorious against the Horns with a win in the 200 backstroke.
