SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Texas A&M freshman Maggie Boylan picked up more awards at the 127th National Horse Show, held earlier this month at the Oncenter Complex in western New York.

Boylan (Patterson, N.Y.) claimed the Large Junior Hunter 16-17 division title on her horse, Poetic, finishing third or better in all four competition classes. Later, she placed third overall out of 52 riders in the National Horse Show Hunter Classic with an average score of 86.75.

The performance adds to her already successful semester on the national scene, as she picked up a win and four other top-five finishes at the Capital Challenge Horse Show in October.

The top-ranked Aggies (6-0) finished the fall season undefeated, and return to the ring on Jan. 28 when they host South Carolina.
