POSTGAME QUOTES
HEAD COACH Gary Blair Opening Statement... "It's hard to play Division II teams. You want to work on execution, but it ends up in transition so much. I often had to pull them back. I'm glad we've got our Maroon and White game next Saturday so we can work on our screens. I was happy for a lot of the players who have waited their turn. We'll see which ones are ready to step up against the teams who are going to make a stink for us. The young players did a good job of stepping up. It was good to see these kids have fun out there."
SENIOR GUARD Maryann Baker On what the team gained from the exhibition game... "It was a good opportunity to not play ourselves, to see different offenses and defenses, and get a little different competition. Our offensive execution needs to be cleaned up more. We just need to keep on working in practice on both ends of the floor."
JUNIOR GUARD Skylar Collins On what the team gained from the exhibition game... "It was a good chance to work on team chemistry and get into the flow against an actual team. We got to work on executing our offense. We were able to not just run plays, but execute against another team."
