COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Fans can take advantage of several $5 ticket options for Saturday's nationally-televised Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series showdown with No. 21 Washington, set for 3:30 p.m. at Reed Arena.
The popular "Half Price Holiday Hoops" promotion includes the battle with the Huskies and runs through January 12. Fans can purchase half-price tickets in all seating levels of Reed Arena, with prices starting at just $5 per ticket. Holiday Hoops tickets can be purchased in person at the Reed Arena or Kyle Field box offices, over the phone at 888-99-AGGIE or by visiting tickets.12thmanfoundation.com.
In addition, $5 tickets are available through Old Army Spirit section promotion. Fans can purchase the tickets online at oldarmyspirit.com or at the Old Army Spirit Company, located across from The Tap at 900 Harvey Road in the Post Oak Village shopping center. Tickets must be picked up at the store during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.). Fans attending Saturday's game are encouraged to get there early, as a special presentation will be held prior to tipoff in honor Mike and Nikki Oyedeji (pronounced O-yuh-day-jee) and their son Tobi, a member of the Aggie hoops incoming Class of '14. Tobi was lost tragically following a car accident in Houston on May 16, 2010, and a memorial scholarship has been set up in his honor.
Also in attendance Saturday will be the Aggie football team, which will be presented the Big 12 South Division championship trophy at halftime.
A&M will put its 56-game non-conference home win streak on the line against Washington, which will be making its first-ever visit to Reed Arena.
