Three members of Texas A&M head coach Mike Sherman's 2010 signing class earned spots on ESPN's All-Big 12 Freshman team.

Making ESPN's Big 12 beat reporter David Ubben's squad were offensive tackles Von Miller into a solid first season with 12 starts.

Matthews earned his spot on the All-Freshman team after jumping into the starting lineup due to an injury. After original OT starter Brian Thomas moved inside when starting guard Evan Eike went down, Matthews started the final six games of 2010 and was impressive.

With Joeckel and Matthews protecting the edges down the stretch, the Aggies reeled off six straight Big 12 victories on their way to a share of the South Division title. With Joeckel and Matthews in the starting lineup together, Aggie quarterbacks were sacked just 12 times in the final six games of the season. In the first six games of 2010, the A&M offense allowed 23 sacks.

Moore served as Miller's top backup at the Aggies' “joker” and turned in an impressive stat line of 39 tackles, including 5.5 QB sacks, and also contributed an interception and a team-high three forced fumbles. Moore was named National Defensive Performer of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards  after coming off the bench to make seven tackles, including two QB sacks and another tackle for loss of yardage in the Aggies 48-16 win over Louisiana Tech. Moore also forced three fumbles and recovered one against the Bulldogs.
