COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M basketball team checked in at No. 18 in both The Associated Press and the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Top 25 polls, released Monday.
The Aggies (11-1), winners of eight straight, moved up seven spots in the AP rankings and six in the coaches' poll. A&M's lone game last week was an 86-51 thumping of Wagner on Dec. 21 at Reed Arena.
The Big 12 once again has six teams ranked in the coaches' poll, led by No. 3 Kansas. Eight of the league's 12 teams have already reached the 10-win plateau.
